About Me

Hello! I'm Robin, a software engineer with a passion for creating things that live on the internet. My journey began during my Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at GEHU (2015-2019), where I discovered my passion for building exciting web solutions.

I'm a tech enthusiast who believes in robust engineering and not taking shortcuts. I've had the privilege of contributing to large-scale enterprise solutions and honing my skills across the full stack.

Outside of coding, I'm a passionate competitive gamer and a seasonal nature photographer, always looking for the next challenge or a perfect shot.

Senior Software Engineer @ Oracle
January 2021 - Present
- Led technical design and development for major architectural enhancements, including API Access Control, cross-region enablement, and external billing systems.
- Took full ownership of critical initiatives such as the OHIP-OCIM integration, Prometheus implementation, and the migration framework for customers moving from SSD to OCIM.
- Acted as the go-to engineer for resolving critical P1 tickets and contributed to global outage support, ensuring platform stability.
- Championed the adoption of AI within the team, leading to measurable improvements in code quality and efficiency using tools like Oracle Code Assist.
- Served as a successful Scrum Master, mentoring junior engineers and leading KT sessions to accelerate new member onboarding.

Worked on Serverless functions that process big employee data and make meaning of it by passing it through serveral data manipulation pipelines and storing output documents in MongoDb. Serverless functions to support Service for UI and crafted beautiful graphs and dashboards to manage Carbon footprints including hotel stays, bus travels, flights taken etc.
